Bryan Evans studied Fine art at Loughborough. After visiting Glasgow on an exchange visit he moved there and has lived there ever since. He specialises in paintings & prints of Glasgow, Edinburgh and other Scottish towns & cities. He has gained considerable acclaim for his work depicting rainy streets and tenement closes. He is predominantly a watercolour painter and also produces etchings and mezzotints. His watercolours and prints have achieved widespread recognition in Scotland, and he was once memorably hailed in the Glasgow Herald as the “New Scottish Impressionist”. His work is in collections throughout Britain, Europe and North America.
