A lovely little hand Painted dish by Mary L Fairgrieve. Small and beautiful, it is a colourful and decorative little piece that would grace any dressing table. The dish is in good condition with some crazing as you would expect with a piece of this vintage. There is a little discolouration to the inside of the dish. There are no chips or cracks. This lovely little dish stands 5.5cm high by 8cm diameter.
Mary L Fairgrieve was born in Glasgow and studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1908-1912. She was skilled in many crafts including needlework and ceramic painting.
